     • en consecuencia la velocidad de reaccion aumenta
   • sitio activo
     • en donde
       • ocurre la reaccion
       • se une el sustrato (los reactivos)
       • se puede unir el inhibidor en inhibicion competitiva

2. INHIBICION

   • COMPETITIVA
     • sustrato e inhibidor compiten por sitio activo
     • si aumento [S] puedo favorecer la reaccion
     • inhibitors block the substrate from binding to the active site and forming ES complex

       • Jm doesn´t change
         • same ordenada al origen
       • Km increases
         • it becomes less negative
         • slope increases
   • NO COMPETITIVA
     • Non-Competitive Inhibitors
       • bind to other site other than the active site
       • they do not prevent the substrate from binding to the active site
         • Km remains the same
       • they cannot be overcome by the addition of substrate
       • they lower Jm
         • due to the inability of the reaction to proceed as efficiently

3. Ecuacion de Michaelis

     • concentracion a la cual la velocidad maxima (Jm) se reduce a la mitad
   • Cs: concentracion sustrato
