       • A steroid is an organic compound with four rings arranged in a specific configuration.

       • Phospholipids are a class of lipids that are a major component of all cell membranes. They can form lipid bilayers because of their amphiphilic characteristic.

         • Fatty acids are the building blocks of the fat in our bodies and in the food we eat.
