1. Binary Numbers

   • Kilobytes
     • 1024 bytes OR 2^10
       • 2^10 means 2 to the power of 10. 2^10 is 1024 bytes. However, some people often just refer to a kilobyte as being worth 1000 bytes as 1024 rounded to the nearest unit of 10 is 1000.
       • remember: it is 2^10 because we are working in 2s. We are working in 2s because we are in binary and computers working in binary work in powers of 2s.
   • Megabyte
     • 1048576 bytes OR 1024 kilobytes OR 2^20
       • Again, like the kilobyte, the megabyte is often referred to as worth 1 million bytes as 1048576 rounded to the nearest unit of 10 is 1 000 000.
   • Gigabyte
     • 1073741824 bytes OR 1024 megabytes OR 2^30
   • Byte
     • 8 bites
       • 8 bites
   • Bite
   • Nibble
     • 4 bites
   • Terabyte
     • 1099511627776 bytes OR 1024 gigabytes OR 2^40
