1. ADVANTAGES

   • It was the first method to have a theory
     • It made language lerning accesible to a large groupsof ordinary learners
       • It was the first method to lay stress on the devolpment of language syntax, whereas the order method were preoccupied with morphology and vocabulary
         • Devolping simple techniques and making use of language lab

2. DISAVANTAGES

   • No creteavity. Students repeat and memorize what they do not understand
     • The techniques used by this method become "tedious ans boring, causin fatige"
       • Make advance students bored
         • Many students in the class
