Atom : The smallest particle of a substance that can exist by itself or be combined with other atoms.
Element : A substance that consists of only 1 type of atom.
Compound : 2 or more different atoms that are chemically bonded together.
Mixture : 2 or more different atoms together but not chemically joined.
Molecule : 2 or more atoms (same or different) chemically bonded together. Eg. Oxygen - O2 + Hydrogen - H2. Plus all of group from the Periodic Table. They come in pairs so they are diatomic molecules.
