Dividing decimals

move the decimal so that the divisor is a whole number

divide normally

add the decimal to the answer directly above the last number in the problem

Multiplying decimals

line the numbers on top of each other

ignore the decimal point and multiply

count up all of the decimal points and add them on to the left
