The amount of energy produced through onshore wind has increased. The amount of hydropower produced has stayed static - maximum capacity.
Wind production dominates. Solar PV has only recently been effective

"UK announces cut in solar subsidies" BBC News December 15 - not efficient - doesn't meet demand, takes up land space
