-
- ALL ANGLES on a straight line add up to 180 degrees.
- ALL ANGLES at a point add up to 360 degrees.
- ALL ANGLES IN A TRIANGLE ADD UP TO 180 DEGREES.
- ISOSCELES= 2 angles are the same size and 2 sides are the same length.
- EQUILATERAL= all sides are the same length and each angle is 60 degrees.
- RIGHT ANGLE TRIANGLE= 1 angle is 90 degrees.
- SCALENE TRIANGLE = all angles and side lengths are different

- ALTERNATIVE ANGLE
- The first picture is an alternative angle as you can see it goes in to a Z shape.
- CORROSPONDING ANGLE
- The second picture is a corresponding angle as you can see it goes in to a backwards Z.
-

- HYPOTENUSE
- The line which is opposite the 90 degree square.
- If working out the size of the line opposite the 90 degree square then square both of the other sides and then ADD both answers together. Once you have got the answer SQUARE ROOT the answer and then that should give you the FINAL ANSWER.
- IF YOU ARE WORKING OUT THE OTHER 2 SIDES THEN SUBTRACT THE ANSWERS AFTER SQUARING THEM INSTEAD OF ADDING!
-
- 5x+2x+3y+y
- ADD NUMBERS TOGETHER IF THEY HAVE THE SAME LETTER!
- = 7x+4y
