  1. Pythagoras Theorem

    • Pythagoras Theorem
    • Hypotenuse = line opposite the right angle
    • Use the formula:
    • C² = B² + A²
    • Example:
    • C² = B² + A²
    • C² = 6² + 8²
    • C² = 36 + 64
    • C² = 100
    • *Square Root It
    • C = 10
    • Caption: Adjacent- 6cm Opposite- 8cm Hypotenuse- C
  2. Circumference, Diameter and Radius

    • Circumference, Diameter and Radius
    • Circumference = Diameter x π (C = π d)
    • Example 1:
    • C= D π
    • C= 4 x π
    • C= 12,6
    • Diameter = Circumference ÷ π (D= C ÷ π)
    • Or Radius x 2 (D= R x 2)
    • Example 2:
    • D= 12,5 ÷ π
    • D= 4
    • Radius = Diameter ÷ 2
    • Caption: 1. D- 4cm R- 2cm 2. C- 12.5
