- 8What Is The Purpose Of The Accumulator?The accumulator holds the results from the ALU. It registers short term, intermediate data.
- 9What Is The Fetch-Decode-Execute Cycle?Data is fetched from the main memory, that data is then decoded while the program counter keeps track, the instructions are executed and the cycle repeats.
