- 2VariableSomething in Python that can be assigned a value. There are four types of variables: string (lines of text), integer (any integer), float (any number with a decimal), and boolean (True or False)
- 3ModuleA group of related, predefined commands in Python. Modules must be imported before it can be used in programs.
- 4TurtleA module in Python that allows you to draw graphics. Commands include forward, backward, pen up, left, fill, and color.
- 5defA command in Python that allows you to make original functions. Example line:
def Function(): - 6parametersConditions a function requires in order to operate, such as a variable. Functions can have any number of parameters, including 0.
Example: def Function(parameter1, parameter2): - 7listA group of variables (any kind) grouped in brackets and separated by commas. Individual items receive indices, the first index being zero. Can be edited using commands such as append and pop.
- 8tupleVery similar to a list, only that it cannot be edited and items are enclosed in parentheses.
- 9classA command in Python that allows you to make a custom class with specific instances and functions.
- 10MathA module in Python that allows users to perform more complicated mathematical calculations, including pi and square root.
- 11RandomA module in Python that allows users to select random items given a range, such as a number between 1 and 10. Random can also shuffle items in a list using the shuffle command.
