Optimizing
Cards in this deck (5)
- 1General strategiesLimit dimensions/Reuse and recycle/Design for compression/Use web graphics tools
- 2Optimizing GIFsReduce number of colors, bit-depth/Reduce dithering, colors approximated, dithered/Use lossy filter, force some pixels out/design for GIF compression, keep it flat, horizontal stripes/Save GIF with few colors
- 3JPEGsAvoid detail, blurry images less pixels, avoid flat colors, save as GIF/compress very well, as much as possible/Weighted optimization, selective quality/Choose optizimed JPEGs/Blur, smooth image
- 4PNGsPNG-24, avoid it for photographic images, good for multiple levels of transparency
PNG-8 smaller sizes, reduce number of colors, reduce dithering, design with flat colors - 5Other strategiesOptimize to file size (set desired file size
