About the gospels flashcards

GoConqr Original

Using The Gospels flashcards

These decks offer different ways into the unit. Mark's Gospel includes questions about Mark's audience and the focus of his Gospel. The Luke decks cover the evangelist and his audience, as well as questions about salvation. Other decks look at Matthew, John, the Beatitudes and theories about the Synoptic Problem.

For a starting point, try Mark's Gospel if you want to recall details about an evangelist and his readers. For a more focused study of theories, turn to Synoptic Problem Theories, which includes the Two Source Hypothesis and other approaches.

Make the cards work for you

Read each prompt and try to answer before checking the card. Return to the prompts you find difficult, then use another deck to practise a different part of the unit. If you want to see connections between topics, switch to a mind map on the unit page; choose a quiz there when you want another way to test yourself.

Pick a deck and work through a few cards at a time.
