- 1Self ReportWays to obtain data by asking participants to provide information about themselves.
Methods include questionnaires and interviews. - 2Rating ScaleNumerical scale on which a participant indicates a choice by selecting one number, providing quantitive data.
- 3Likert ScaleType of question which measures attitudes using a statement.
Participants respond by choosing a option; 'strongly agree', 'agree', 'don't know', 'don't agree', 'strongly disagree'. - 4Semantic Differential ScaleScale that allows participants to choose on a scale between two extremes.
i.e. between an opposing pair of words, such as 'weak' and 'strong'.
