3. Data Classification

   • Alphanumeric (letters, numbers and symbols not for operations): Hola!, Bi3n...
   • Numerical (use in logic and arithmetic): -2, 3.9...
   • Audiovisual (be watch or listen): Pictures, video...
   • Physical (from environment): light sensor, humidity...

4. Data Process

   • 1º Enters to the computer through Input Devices
   • 2º Follows instructions, performs operations (logical and arithmetical) to transform into info., stored while doing so in RAM
   • 3º Results displayed through Output Devices

5. Data Storage

   • Constant: identifier in the memory of a permanent value
   • Variable: identifier in the memory of a changing value
     • Naming Guide: - Only numbers, letters, and "_" - Start with letters - Meaningful - Less than 255 characters
   • Assign value (<-): it can be a variable, constant or expression this substituting it by the value, only one at a time. ex: Name <- "Joe"
   • Space depends on the data being stored (Byte)

6. Data Types

   • Simple (non-structured)
     • Numeric: Integers or Real numbers
     • Logic: Boolean (T or F)
     • Aphanumeric: character (one type) or string (combination)
   • Structured: derived frome simple and have defined relations
