Greening My Community: For my community I think that we need to create a variety of transportation choices in order for my community to become greener.
- I think that creating a variety of transportation choices would benefit a community because it would decrease the amount of traffic, and decrease the amount of pollution, and toxins that the cars release during those jams. In Richmond Hill currently traffic isn't that much of a problem but it could become a huge problem in the future because there would a increase in population and many cars to go along the the amount of people. We need to consider this and start to carpool, or even use public transportation. so that this issue doesn't occur in the future.
- As an example, Richmond Hill does not have as many roads so this issue may occur, unless we start to do something about then we wont have to worry about it. But ways to prevent this from happening are, Carpooling, Using public Transit/Transportation, Walk, or bike, and many more. By just doing these things we can prevent environmental harm and we can contribute to Greening Our Community.
