Vastus Intermedius - deep to rectus femoris - 14'Hamstring' Muscle Group (caudal muscles of thigh)Biceps Femoris Muscle - Most on laterial aspect. Sciatic nerve runs deep to this muscle. IM injections occur in Biceps Femoris
Semitendinous - Directly caudal. Round. IM inj.
Semimembranous - deep to gracillis - 15Sternomastoid'M' Shaped. Throat region
