5)Some heat is trapped by carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases
6) Burning fossil fuels and removing forests increases the level of carbon dioxide
7) So the atmosphere gets warmer andwarmer - 2Effects of Global Warming1) Ice in the Artic and Antarctic will melt
2)Hurricanes in the Caribbean will be more violent and more common
3)Heat waves in Europe will be more common and lead to many deaths especially of older people.
4)Rising sea levels will drown low-lying coastal areas such as Bangladesh - 3Other Effects of Global Warming5) Climate conditions in central Africa will become far more unpredictable and so failing harvests will lead to many more famines (not enough food) and refugees.
6) The climate in Spain will become too hot in the summer for tourists to visit
7) Crops will grow better in places that were once too cold, such as Northern Canada
