| Cell | The smallest unit of life in living things. Cells take in materials and release energy and waste products. |
| Cell Membrane | The flexible structure that holds a cell together, gives shape, provides a boundary. |
| Cytoplasm | Is a gel-like substance in which cell parts move and where many of the cell's life activities take place. |

| Chloloplast | Are green organelles that trap energy from sunlight and turn it into food. |
| Tissue | Are groups of similar cells that all do the same work. |
| Organ | Is a structure made up of two (2) or more different types of tissue that work together. |
