-Difficulties trying to fit into their old lives. Although Chris's aspirations for a different life may cause friction with his parents it shows how hsi expectations have expanded. - 6George-Now highly educated = funded by US gov. Under the GI Bill = funding for veterans to pursue professional qualifications.
