Give an example of an antibacterial compound. Defensins - Plant proteins that disrupt the cell membrane of bacteria and fungi.
Give an example of an antifungal compound. Chitinases - Enzyme that breaks down the chitin in the cell wall of fungi.
Give an example of an anti-oomycetes. Glucanases - Enzymes that break down the glucans in the cell wall of oomycetes.
Give an example of a general toxin. Cyanide - Plants have a chemical that breaks down into cyanide which is toxic to most living things.
