Time/date resets to January 1 2000? Check lithium battery in CMOS
Trouble with CPU? Check CPU fan, heat sink and thermal compound/ check overclocking setting in BIOS/ check if CPU is secure
Noisy computer? Check CPU fan, case fan, power supply fan, and used compressed air and vacuum
Ram issue? Reset modules/ clean with compressed air.
RAM Over heating? check RAM heatsink
BIOS beep codes or errors? check motherboard docs and use POST card tester
Power issues? Test AC outlet with receptable tester or multimeter. Test power supply with PSU tester. Do not open power supply.
Slow hard drive? Defrag it, use disk cleaner and scan drive with AV software
Hard drive isn't recognized? Check connections, check in BIOS, initialize, partition and format in Disk Management
No second screen on laptop? Check Fn key.
Laptop display blank? check resolution settings, inverter, backlight, or damage to LCD
Printer paper jam? Power cycle, check paper tray, rollers, paper type, fuser, and entire paper path
Blank paper after printing? check toner cartridge and transfer corona wire
Smudges or lines on printing? Check drum, primary corona wire, and replace toner cartridge
Toner not staying on paper? Check fusing assembly
Garbage printout? Check print driver
Ghosted image when printing? Check drum and toner cartridge
No connectivity with printer? Check power, network connection, whether printer is shared, proper IP address and whether printer is set up as default
