- 3What is distillation in plants?The plants are put into water then boiled, the oil then separates from the water and plant
- 4What are unsaturated oils?Oils in which the hydrocarbons have double bonds, we can detect the double bonds using bromine water

- 7What is an emulsifier?A substance that helps oil and water join together.
- 8How does an emulsifier work?The head of the emulsifier molecule likes water (Hydrophillic) and the tail doesn't like water (Hydrophobic). So the head of the molecule latches itself onto a water molecule and the tail latches onto the oil
- 9What are emulsifiers used for?To create emulsions used in body lotions, food, lip sticks and face creams
