What is the definition of Temperature? Temperature is the the degree of hotness or coldness of a place . (Measured in degrees Celsius [ºC] or degrees Fahrenheit[ºF])
What is the difference between Weather and Climate? Weather is the day to day condition of the atmosphere at a particular place and time. Climate is the average condition of the atmosphere of a specific place over a long period of time
What is the definition of Latitude? Latitude is the distance of any point on the earth measured north or south from the Equator. (Measured in degrees [º])
Where is the Equator, North Pole and South Pole? The Equator is at 0º. The North Pole is at 90ºN. The South Pole is at 90ºS.
Where is the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn? The Tropic of Cancer is at 23.5ºN. The Tropic of Capricorn is at 23.5ºS.
