How is current distributed in a parallel circuit? It is shared between branches
In parallel circuits, what is the total current flowing around the circuit equal to? The total of all the currents through separate components, e.g A=A1+A2+A3
What makes a circuit parallel? It has junctions in the wiring, where the current either splits or rejoins
The total current going into the junction... ... has to equal the total current leaving the junction
When will the same amount of current flow through two components? When they are identical and connected in parallel
What are the two devices that are exceptions to the series and parallel rules? Ammeters and voltmeters
How are ammeters always connected? In series even in a parallel circuit
How are voltmeters always connected? Parallel with a component even in a series circuit
