    1. It is a automatic movement through your spinal cord which tells your body to move if its under some sort of danger
      1. A example a hot plate
      2. Hormones in food production
        1. Animals
          1. Factory farming is done to produce alot of farm animals. The farmers gives them hormones to grow faster. Also they keep them in tight spaces so they use all there energy to grow
            1. Cows are given a chemical called Bavine Somato Trophine so they can produces alot of milk in short space of time
            2. Plants
              1. Hormones are given to plats so they can grow much faster so the farmer gets more money

              1. This is the maintenance of a stable internal enviromenrt
                1. It involes temperature and blood glucose levels
                  1. Temperature regulation in homestasis
                    1. cold=gosebumps, cold=haris stick up, warm=sweat and hairs lay flat
                    2. The body does this by a thing called hypothalamus. this tells your body when to sweat or keep warm
                    3. Enzymes
                      1. They are a bioliogical catalyst
                        1. This means they speed up reactions in the body
                        2. They are also proteins which are flouded into complex shapes that allow molecules to fit into them
                          1. If the shape changes its shape in a active site it may not be active anymore.
                          2. Osmosis
                            1. is the movement from high concentration to low concentration
