    1. Some lives may be sacrificed to protect others

  1. The 'just' war conditions ensure proportionality
    1. Refusal to fight may make aggressors think they can do what they want
War can be a wise use of resources
1. Some wars are fought to end injustice throught the removal of dictators or corrupt leaders
  1. This could save resources in the long run
