VARIABLES
  1. What is it?
    1. Any item, factor, or condition that can be controlled or changed.
    2. Independent
      1. The one that is manipulated or changed by the scientist.
      2. Dependent
        1. The one observed or measured in the experiment.
        2. Discrete
          1. Can only take on discrete specific values.
          2. Quantitative
            1. Variables that have are measured on a numeric or quantitative scale.
            2. Controlled
              1. The one which the researcher holds constant (controls) during an experiment.
              2. Examples
                1. If we water a plant with different amounts of water (liters) the height will change. The independent variable is the water, because we are changing it. The dependentt is the height because it´s afected by the water. The q
                  1. When boiling water. The controlled variable is the temperature and the amount of water and the time. This can´t change to repeat and have the same results.
                    1. Quantitative: height, wheight, temperature, preasure, velocity, time, etc.
                      1. The number of client that enter a certain store. The variable can only be in that time interval. And is the number of clients.
