   • HICs: high income countries
     • around 80 countires classifies to have a high average income. half are sometimes called developed. office work has over taken factory work in these countries.
   • NEEs: newly emerging economies
     • around 80 countries have experienced higher rates of economic growth. TNCs invest. BRICS and MINT are sub groups of NEEs.
   • LICs: low income countries
     • around 30 countries are classified as having a low average income or below. Agriculture still plays a role in their economies.
