      1. All the elements of the software must be usable with the mouse
    2. Keyboard access
      1. The software must provide keyboard equivalents for all mouse actions, including buttons and text entry fields
      2. The program must provide clear and precise instructions for use of all keyboard functions
      3. The software must have a logical tabbing order among fields, text boxes, and focal points
    3. Screen elements
      1. All descriptions or labels for fields must be positioned immediately to the left or directly above the control, and end in a colon, so that it is easy for screen reading software to associate the labels with the corresponding fields
      2. Every window, object, and control must have a clearly named label
    4. Display
      1. The application must be free of patterned backgrounds used behind text or important graphics
    5. Size
      1. The size of text must be suitable for users with vision impairment or a method of altering text size
    6. Colour
      1. The colour scheme used must provide good contrast between various elements
      2. The colour scheme used must be suitable for users with colour-vision deficiency (CVD)
  4. Include the following disclaimer at the bottom “The data provided by this application is simply advisory and not necessarily an accurate figure”
