  1. Scrooge: first name is Ebenezer and is a greedy, cold harted man who gets visited by the 3 spirits of Christmas
    1. Bob Cratchit: he is a kind man but poor with a big family. He is Scrooge's clerk and gets treated poorly by Scrooge but still works for him. His young son is Tiny Tim
      1. Tiny Tim: he is Bob Cratchit's young song who unfortuantely has been crippled since birth
        1. Jacob Marley: was Scrooge's partnet and like him he was a greedy and cold harted man. Seven years before the narrative opens, Marley dies and now walks around with chains covering his body. Marley comes to Scrooge as a ghostly form to try to save him from suffering a similar fate
          1. The ghost of Christmas past: this is the first ghost which comes to visit Scrooge
            1. The Ghost of Christmas present: this is the second ghost which comes to visit Scooge
              1. The Ghost of Chirstmas yet to come: is the third and final ghost which comes to visit Scooge
