DNA Replication
  1. How do we know to look @ DNA?
    1. 1. Griffith (Transformation) Upshot: Some transferrable genetic information (transformation)
      1. Mice infected with streptococcus bacteria, some transfer of material that allowed the organism to be infected.
      2. 2. Hershey and Chase (bacteriophages) Upshot: Confirmed that DNA was said material
        1. The debate for this genetic blueprint was up between DNA/RNA/Protein. Hershey and Chase used bacteriophages which have a protein casing and DNA within to determine which was passed on. The protein was tagged with radioactive sulfur because it is in the structure of proteins, and the DNA was tagged with radioactive Phosphorous because it has phosphorus in tis structure. When DNA tagged cell was radioactive, when protein tagged cell wasn't radioactive.
      3. How is DNA structured?
        1. Chargaff:
          1. Nucleotide Monomer
            1. Semi-Conservative Replication
            2. What is the DNA replication mechanism?
