2 Dominant Culture
2.1 Main culture of a society. Generally shared by the majority of the people. Such as Britain.
3 SUbCulture
3.1 Smaller culture held by a group of people within the main culture. Usually found within larger societies. Such as an "Emo" or "Skinhead"
4 Folk Culture
4.1 Specific to a particular community and is rooted in their experiences. Such as "Highland Dancing"
5 Low Culture
5.1 Culture that is looked down on by most. Seen as inferior by some. Such as Football.
6 Popular Culture
6.1 Seen as the "Culture of the day". What's popular right now.
7 Mass Culture
7.1 Common Culture of the majority within society. Is accessible by all and is mainly influenced by the Mass Media.
8 High Culture
8.1 This Culture is seen as 'Superior' by some. These are activities such as going to watch the "ballet".
