  1. What does the letters mean?
    1. RAM stands for Random, Access, Memory.
      1. RAM is the memory of which gets deleted once the computer is turned off.
        1. The way the RAM and ROM differ is that the RAM has a very short memory and will get deleted and the ROM will keep all of it's data after the computer is turned off.
          1. Volatile means that when the computer is shut down the memory will not be maintained. So the RAM is volatile.
      2. ROM stands for Read, Only, Memory.
        1. ROM is the memory of which stays on the computer after it has been turned off.
      3. The dynamic RAM is when the memory is constantly refreshing or it will lose its content. Static RAM is faster and less volatile.
