   • Components for deciding what the instructions mean and what to do - This is the processing of the instructions or data
     • Examples

       • AMD

3. Output

   • Components for showing the results of the processing to the user data such as instructions
     • Examples:
       • Monitor
       • Printer
       • Speakers

4. Storage

   • Data is kept or recorded while waiting to be used or for future use.
     • Examples:
       • Blu-Ray
       • DVD
       • CD

5. Communication Devices

   • Network Interface Card:
     • This device is called network card or NIC which provide the electronic circuitry for computers to communicate on network
   • Router:
     • Connects to different networks
   • ROM:
     • Memory that can't change by a program or user
       • Example:
         • ROM stores the instructions for the computer to start up when it is turned on again
   • RAM:
     • Fast temporary type of memory in which programs, application and data is stored

6. Instant Messaging

   • When you can send people messages over the internet using WIFI or data.
     • Advantages:
       • It is free to send messages and socialize with friends and family.
       • You can have a group chat instead of copying the same message to everyone.
     • Disadvantages:
       • People can make out they are younger.
       • Get hold of your private information
       • People can get cyber bullied
