Resource summary

data representation: images
1 the more pixels there are in an image, the more blurry it is and the less detail it has.
2 each pixel is represented as 0 or 1.
2.1 images with a lower density are pixelated and have a lower resolution.
2.1.1 pictures could have a lower resolution and worse quality if the person zoomed in and got closer to the pixels.
3 image quality is affected by the resolution of the image.
3.1 the resolution of an image is a way of describing how tightly packed the pixels are.
4 pixels are the smallest element shown on a screen.
4.1 the 3 colours that make up a pixel are red, green and blue.
4.2 having a value of 0 means a pixels colour is off, whilst having a value of 255 means the colour is fully on.
4.2.1 the pixels are split into sub pixels represented by RGB values.
