Resource summary

data representation: images
  1. the more pixels there are in an image, the more blurry it is and the less detail it has.
    1. each pixel is represented as 0 or 1.
      1. images with a lower density are pixelated and have a lower resolution.
        1. pictures could have a lower resolution and worse quality if the person zoomed in and got closer to the pixels.
      2. image quality is affected by the resolution of the image.
        1. the resolution of an image is a way of describing how tightly packed the pixels are.
        2. pixels are the smallest element shown on a screen.
          1. the 3 colours that make up a pixel are red, green and blue.
            1. having a value of 0 means a pixels colour is off, whilst having a value of 255 means the colour is fully on.
              1. the pixels are split into sub pixels represented by RGB values.
                1. pixels can also be represented by hex values such as FFFFFF for white and 000000 for black
