Here are the 3 Processes of the Respiratory System. If I have missed anything out leave a comment and I will fix it. Thank you!

Resource summary

3 Processes of the Respiratory System
1 Ventilation
1.1 Inhalation/Inspiration = Breathing IN
1.2 Exhalation/Expiration = Breathing OUT
2 Gas Exchange
2.1 What is it?
2.1.1 Movement of gases in and out of the body.
2.1.2 2 Way Process
2.1.2.1 Waste Gases OUT
2.1.2.1.1 By Diffusion.
2.1.2.2 Oxygen (O2) IN
3 Internal Respiration (Cell Respiration)
3.1 Anaeroboic
3.1.1 NO Oxygen
3.1.1.1 Muscle Cells SHORTCUT the Respiration process.
3.1.1.1.1 But Makes LACTIC ACID (poisonous)
3.1.1.1.1.1 e.g Runners pant after a race, to get rid of Lactic Acid, with EXTRA Oxygen. Or they get cramp.
3.1.1.1.1.1.1 OXYGEN DEBT
3.1.1.1.1.1.1.1 Extra Oxygen needed to break down the Lactic Acid. Even after exercise, when heart rate is still high and breathing rate is still high.
3.1.1.1.1.1.1.2 LACTIC ACID + OXYGEN ----> CARBON DIOXIDE + WATER
3.1.1.1.2 GLUCOSE ----> LACTIC ACID + ENERGY
3.2 Aerobic
3.2.1 USING OXYGEN, to release energy
3.2.1.1 GLUCOSE + OXYGEN ----> CARBON DIOXIDE + WATER + ENERGY
3.2.2 OXYGEN DIFFUSES into the MITOCHONDRIA, where the process takes place.
