Printers

  1. Dot Matrix Printer

    • Advantages- Can print on multi part stationary. Can make carbon copies. Lowest printing cost per page. Low repair cost. Can print on continuous paper.
    • Disadvantages- Very loud. Can only print low resolution graphics. Prone to paper jams. Slowest. Limited colour capabilities
  2. Inkjet Printer

    • Advantages- Quieter than dot matrix. Can print better quality and higher resolution than dot matrix. Low cost per page. Cheaper than a laser printer. Lighter than a laser printer
