They found that the grades in cell phone bans got higher scores, low-scoring kids benefiting the most. A study on the Journal of Communication Education found that students wrote down 62 percent more information than people with phones. The University of Chicago  even found that the presence of people's cell phones is enough to reduce how much people concentrate.
