Filtration
Uses a solid barrier to stop solids from passing through. The fluid that passes through the filter is known as the filtrate.
Evaporation
If a liquid has a low boiling point it is said to be volatile. Evaporation involves heating the liquid or one type of liquid until it becomes vapour and evaporates.
