A competitive relationship creates a win-lose scenario between parties

The stakeholders need each other for success
One stakeholder is not able to achieve their goals without the help of another stakeholder

Dynamic
The relationship between the stakeholders is constantly changing
At times the relationship can be co-operative or dependent
Other times it is competitive
