Trigonometry

Finding an unknown side If the unknown side is at the top of the fraction in the equation (sin = o/h. o is on the top), then you multiply it together with the equation being 'h sin(angle)' or 'h x sin(angle)'. If the unknown side is at the bottom of the fraction in the equation (sin = o/h. h is at the bottom), then you divide with the equation being 'o ÷ sin(angle)' or 'o/sin(angle)'.   Finding the unknown angle When calculating the unknown angle you must use inverse functions. To calculate the unknown angle you must find out what trig function you are going to use and then use the formula 'inverse tan(a/o)'
