If your SanDisk USB drive is not working on Windows, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take. First, check the physical connection by plugging the drive into a different USB port or another computer to rule out port issues. If the drive is detected but inaccessible, it might be a file system or partition problem. Open Disk Management by right-clicking the Start button and selecting it, then see if the drive appears. If it shows as unallocated or RAW, you may need to format it (note: formatting erases all data). Running CHKDSK in Command Prompt can also help repair file system errors. Sometimes, outdated or missing USB drivers cause the issue; update them via Device Manager. If none of these steps work, the drive might be physically damaged. Always eject USB drives safely to prevent corruption, and consider backing up important data to avoid future problems.
