1. Importance (Origin of the stylesheet)

There are 3 sources

User Agent Styles (Default browser styles)

User Styles (Styles set for users who may have special needs

Autor Styles ( Styles coders write to style the html page. This is the most important origin)

2. Specificity

Specificity resolves conflicts between style declarations and decides which styles are applied by the browser.

3. Source Order

The cascade assigns a priority to css styles based on what order they appear.

Inheritance

An elements style values e copied from its parent element.

The value "initial" breaks the inheritance of an element and returns it to its initial value.
