- 6How to reduce aberrant behavior:Aberrant behavior is maintained by socially mediated reinforcement (you in control). Discontinuing of a reinforcement of a previously reinforced behavior; primary effect is a decrease in frequency of behavior. With holding. Extinguish behavior not the student.
