- 1What did Conrad find about encoding in the STM?Encoding in the STM is acoustic. He found mistakes made tended to be as a result of mixing up the sounds rather than the appearance of the letters.

- 92 weaknesses of the MSM...The model is oversimplified, it suggests both STM/LTM operate singular; this not the case + it says rehearsal transfer info into LTM but this in't essential, how can we recall info which isn't rehearsed (swimming) yet can't recall info we have rehearsed (reading your notes while revising)
- 10What is the Serial Position Effect? Does it support the MSM?Recency effect = idea that people recall last words
Primacy effect = idea that people recall first words
They forget the middle, supporting 2 different storages (STM/LTM)
