- Pneumonic plague, which was coughing
So many people died from it they built massive pits to bury them in
25 million people in Europe and Asia died from it
Nobody knew anything about the germs that spread the diease
As a result of the Black Death, women died whilst giving birth and men died from wounds they received from battle
Ideas were created through religious beliefs
