(Fewer amplification cycles to rise above threshold)
3. Homozygote: 1 probe binds, all DNA contributes to an increase in fluorescence
4. Heterozygote: 1/2 DNA probe 1
1/2 DNA probe 2
- Signal for each will be higher than homozygote signal
