- Some authors have truly great work, but sometimes their wording is vague or simply hard to understand, especially if they use confusing Old English or use a lot of extensive detail. However, some tips can make these great, although tricky, works easier to understand.

- 1. Study it/Learn it
- When you come across a word you don’t recognize or understand, write it down. Look for any context clues in the passage, or look up the meaning and write it down as well. When you finish reading, go back to what you wrote down and review it.
