   • encoding of the location of the object
     • self-referential search, where the object is in relation to the child
       • on the child's L/H side will remain there even if child moves position
     • place hypothesis, the position of the object within the surroundings
       • next to the ....to the left of the ... etc
     • response hypothesis, obtaining a reward for finding object initially.
       • may assume it's always there as they were rewarded.
